BOYZ2MEN MINISTRY
To empower young men to put their beliefs in Christ into action.
CREATIVE ARTS MINISTRY
To coordinate the creative performances that interpret special music, creative dance, narration, or puppetry that honor God.
DANCE MINISTRY
To give praise to the Lord using movement.
DEACONATE MINISTRY
To assist the Pastor in providing Christian services and leadership to the congregation and to strengthen relationships among members.
EDUCATION MINISTRY
To organize, administer, and supervise the educational programs and/or training of the church designed to biblically equip saints.
FITNESS MINISTRY
To maintain God’s temple through physical activity.
FOOD PANTRY MINISTRY
To feed the homeless and less fortunate.
GIRL SCOUTS
To teach and grow young girls in a positive manner.
GUEST SERVICES MINISTRY (HOSPITALITY)
To greet guests/visitors from the parking lot to the sanctuary and be available to help answer questions at all times.
KITCHEN/FOOD MINISTRY (HELPING HANDS)
To plan, prepare, and serve food for applicable church functions and/or special events.
MINISTERIAL MINISTRY
To help assist the Pastor as directed.
MISSIONS MINISTRY
To care for and support the mission of the church and to provide ways for others around the world to learn the good news about Jesus Christ.
OUTREACH MINISTRY
To carry out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ by making disciples and to provide opportunities for people who do not yet have a personal relationship with Christ.
PASTORAL/CONGREGATIONAL CARE MINISTRY
To look after the well-being of each believer as well as the church as a whole which involves loving, guiding, and nurturing members and/or others.
POPCORN WITH A PURPOSE MINISTRY
To enlighten people with Christian movies to bring lost souls to Christ.
PRAYER MINISTRIES (INTERCESSORY, PRAYER REQUESTS AND WARRIORS)
To intercede and connect people to Christ through prayer.
RECREATIONAL MINISTRY
To reach others through fellowship and outreach built around recreational and athletic activities.
SECURITY MINISTRY
To secure the safety of our members/visitors; monitors are on duty for Sunday and Wednesday night services and other designated times.
SENIOR CITIZENS LUNCHEON MINISTRY
Providing Christian fellowship and social activities to Seniors.
STEWARDSHIP MINISTRY
To provide for those needing and requesting financial assistance from time to time in our congregation.
TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY
To maintain upkeep of the church’s vehicles and to transport members to Sunday School and other church services and/or to drive the Pastor to special events.
TRAFFIC MINISTRY
To assist with parking and directions.
UPLIFTERS MINISTRY
To give encouragement to those who are sick or grieving.
USHER BOARD
To serve the church as a doorkeeper, escort and director during church services.
WITNESSING MINISTRY
To spread the good news of Jesus beyond the walls of the church building.
WOMEN IN THE MAKING MINISTRY
Empowering young women of their worth with the word of Christ in an effort to help them reach the woman within.
WOMEN OF WORSHIP MINISTRY (WOW)
To encourage women to become who they are in Christ.
WORSHIP/MUSIC MINISTRY
To lead the congregation into a spirit-filled worship environment and to provide music for regular and special services as directed and/or approved by the Pastor.
YOUTH MINISTRY
To minister to the needs of Shady Grove youth through Bible teaching, mentoring programs, special events and activities.
